Chief Executive Officer

Jack is the CEO of @Twitter, CEO & Chairman of Square, and a co-founder of both. He also serves on the Board of The Walt Disney Company.


Chief Operating Officer

Adam is Chief Operating Officer at Twitter, overseeing the company’s business operations as well as its worldwide monetization efforts and advertising platform. He previously served as Twitter’s President of Global Revenue and Partnerships. Prior to joining Twitter in 2010, Adam was President of the Fox Audience Network (FAN), a role in which he oversaw a division that includes one of the web’s largest advertising platforms and a team dedicated to monetizing News Corporation’s web properties and hundreds of third-party online publishers.

Previously, Adam served as Fox Interactive Media’s original Chief Technology Officer, and helped spearhead acquisitions of MySpace, IGN, Photobucket, and Scout Media. He began his career with News Corp running the technology and product divisions at, and previously served in several roles within the online news industry, including stints at and In September 2012, Adam was listed as #1 in “AdWeek’s 50” ranking of indispensable industry talent. He serves on the board of the Ad Council and is a member of their Executive Committee.


Chief Financial Officer

Anthony serves as Chief Financial Officer of Twitter, leading the company’s financial operations as well as corporate development and strategy. Prior to joining Twitter in July 2014, Anthony was a partner and the Head of the Technology, Media and Telecom Investment Banking Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 2010 to 2014.

From 2008 to 2010, Anthony was Chief Financial Officer of the National Football League. He led the league through the financial crisis and many of the key deals that transformed its media business. From 1999 to 2007, he served in various roles at Goldman Sachs, including Partner in the Equity Research division, the lead Internet analyst, and the lead Media and Entertainment Equity Research analyst.

Anthony holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.


Chief Technology Officer

Adam is responsible for engineering, product development, and design at Twitter, as well as long term technology direction and overseeing our technical architecture. He was previously VP of Application Development, where he led various teams, including mobile and web apps, design, search, relevance, and advertising.

Prior to joining Twitter in 2011, Adam was Vice President of Development at Oracle where he led the development of Java and Exalogic. Earlier in his career he worked at O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures, WebLogic, Organic, and the Santa Fe Institute.

Adam is a graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he was a Sloan Fellow and of Willamette University where he was a G. Herbert Smith Scholar.


General Counsel

Vijaya Gadde (VIJ-ee-yah GAD-ee) is Twitter’s General Counsel, leading the company’s legal, trust and safety, and public policy teams. She previously served as a Legal Director at Twitter, where she managed the international and corporate legal teams. Prior to joining Twitter in 2011, Vijaya was Senior Director, Legal at Juniper Networks; previously, for nearly a decade, she was an associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. While at WSGR, Vijaya acted as counsel to the New York Stock Exchange’s Proxy Working Group and Committee on Corporate Governance.

She earned a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.


Chief Marketing Officer

Leslie is Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for Twitter’s global consumer, product, and sales marketing and communications.

Prior to joining the company in 2016, she was Executive Vice President, Global Advertising, Marketing & Digital Partnerships at American Express. Having joined American Express in 2005, Leslie led a global team responsible for creating marketplace demand and driving commerce through differentiated products, marketing, and customer experiences globally. As a member of the company’s global management team, Leslie oversaw advertising, media, sponsorships, content, brand identity, and digital partnerships. Earlier in her career, Leslie led PR and online communications strategies for global brands on the agency side. She earned a B.S. from Boston University’s College of Communications.


Chief Accounting Officer

As CAO, Robert has direct oversight of our controllership function, international controllership, and corporate tax. Prior to joining Twitter, Robert was a Partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he had more than 25 years of service, and served as the lead audit partner on several large global public technology and hospitality clients. While at Deloitte, he developed a strong international background, built and led large cross-functional teams, supported complex capital market transactions, and led several national audit initiatives. He also served as the Chief of Staff to the CEO of Deloitte & Touche LLP.

Robert has an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, an MS in Accounting from the University of Hartford, and a B.A. from Hamilton College.
