Interim Chief Executive Officer
Jack is interim CEO & Chairman of Twitter, CEO & Chairman of Square, & co-founder of both. He serves on the Board of The Walt Disney Company.
President of Global Revenue and Partnerships
Adam oversees Twitter’s worldwide monetization efforts and the rollout of its advertising platform. Prior to joining Twitter in 2010, he served as President of the Fox Audience Network (FAN), a role in which he oversaw a division that includes one of the web’s largest advertising platforms and a team dedicated to monetizing News Corporation’s web properties and hundreds of third-party online publishers.
Previously, Adam served as Fox Interactive Media’s original Chief Technology Officer, and helped spearhead acquisitions of MySpace, IGN, Photobucket, and Scout Media. He began his career with News Corp running the technology and product divisions at FOXSports.com, and previously served in several roles within the online news industry, including stints at latimes.com and Cleveland.com. In September 2012, Adam was listed as #1 in “AdWeek’s 50” ranking of indispensable industry talent. He serves on the board of the Ad Council and is a member of their Executive Committee.
Vijaya Gadde (VIJ-ee-yah GAD-ee) is Twitter’s General Counsel. She previously served as a Legal Director at Twitter, where she managed the international and corporate legal teams. Prior to joining Twitter in 2011, Vijaya was Senior Director, Legal at Juniper Networks; previously, for nearly a decade, she was an associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. While at WSGR, Vijaya acted as counsel to the New York Stock Exchange’s Proxy Working Group and Committee on Corporate Governance.
She earned a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
KATIE JACOBS STANTON
Vice President, Global Media
Katie Jacobs Stanton is Vice President, Global Media at Twitter, responsible for media partnership across the world and across strategic verticals including news, television, sports, music.
Previously at Twitter, Katie ran the International Market Development team, which established key partnerships and Twitter offices including in the UK, Germany, Japan, Brazil, Australia and India, among others.
Earlier, Katie worked for the White House, State Department, at Google and at Yahoo!. She has lived in 8 countries and travelled to more than 40 countries. She is a 1991 graduate of Rhodes College and received her Masters Degree in 1995 from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA).
Chief Accounting Officer
As CAO, Robert has direct oversight of our controllership function, international controllership, and corporate tax. Prior to joining Twitter, Robert was a Partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he had more than 25 years of service, and served as the lead audit partner on several large global public technology and hospitality clients. While at Deloitte, he developed a strong international background, built and led large cross-functional teams, supported complex capital market transactions, and led several national audit initiatives. He also served as the Chief of Staff to the CEO of Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Robert has an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, an MS in Accounting from the University of Hartford, and a B.A. from Hamilton College.
Chief Technology Officer
As CTO, Adam is responsible for long term technology direction and overseeing our technical architecture. He was previously VP of Application Development, where he led various teams, including mobile and web apps, design, search, relevance, and advertising. Prior to joining Twitter in 2011, Adam was Vice President of Development at Oracle where he led the development of Java and Exalogic. Earlier in his career he worked at O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures, WebLogic, Organic, and the Santa Fe Institute.
Adam is a graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he was a Sloan Fellow and of Willamette University where he was a G. Herbert Smith Scholar.
Chief Financial Officer
Anthony serves as Chief Financial Officer of Twitter, Inc., leading the company’s financial operations as well as Corporate Development and Strategy. Prior to joining Twitter in July 2014, he served as a Managing Director in the Technology, Media and Telecom Investment Banking Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 2010 to 2014. He was also Co-Head of Goldman Sachs’ Technology, Media and Telecom Investment Banking group from 2011 to 2014.
From 2008 to 2010, Anthony was CFO of the National Football League. From 1999-2007, he served in various roles at Goldman Sachs, including as the Internet and Media Equity Research Analyst and the head of the Communication, Media and Entertainment Equity Research Team. Anthony holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy and a M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Senior Vice President of Engineering
Alex is responsible for engineering at Twitter, including software and hardware engineering, analytics, and operations. Prior to joining Twitter in 2010, he was Director of Engineering at the Laufer Wind Group, developing radar technology for renewable energy applications.
Earlier, he spent seven years at Google as a software engineer and technical lead, on the founding team for AdSense and later on a variety of systems and ads quality projects.
Alex holds a B.S. with Honors and M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University.
BRIAN “SKIP” SCHIPPER
Vice President of Human Resources
Skip is responsible for leading the human resources team at Twitter, including setting the strategy and delivering the support to make Twitter the best company to work for. Prior to joining Twitter in 2014, he was head of Human Resources at Groupon, Inc. where he led the global HR and administrative functions. Earlier, he led HR at Cisco and was in senior HR positions at Microsoft, DoubleClick, PepsiCo and Compaq Computer Corp.
Skip earned a bachelor’s degree from Hope College and an M.B.A. from Michigan State University. Skip serves as a Director on the boards of Dice Holdings, Inc. and Verified Person, Inc.
Chief Communications Officer
Gabriel is Chief Communications Officer at Twitter, where he leads the global teams for media relations and public policy. Prior to joining Twitter in 2012, Gabriel worked as Director of Global Communications and Public Affairs at Google. Gabriel refined his expertise in strategic communications through his work in the electoral arena, having played a key role on campaigns for political and governmental clients around the world.
Gabriel received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley and his master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University. He is the author of the bestselling book on guerrilla marketing, Mao In the Boardroom, published by St. Martin’s Press.
Senior Vice President of Product
Kevin is responsible for product development and design at Twitter. Between 2010 and 2014, he led product development for Twitter’s advertising platform, as well as the acquisition of MoPub and the development of Fabric, Twitter’s mobile services strategy. Previously, he led the Twitter analytics team, where he was an early evangelist of and contributor to the open-source Hadoop ecosystem. Before joining Twitter in 2009, he was the first employee at web media startup Cooliris, working in user growth and analytics. He also worked at municipal wireless network provider Tropos Networks, Microsoft Research, and, in a past life, as a physics Ph.D. student, at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center.
Kevin graduated summa cum laude from Harvard University with a B.A. in Mathematics and Physics, and holds an M.S. in Physics from Stanford.
